In ProSeafarers, you can change your preferences so that potential employers and manning agents can / can’t view your profile.
First, log into ProSeafarers, and click the slider lines icon on the left to go to your Preferences page:
In the Profile visibility section, you’ll see Discoverable in recruiter search.
In the image above, the profile is set to visible. To change your profile to invisible, click the button. You will see a warning note telling you that you will be hidden from any searches that employers make. If you want to continue click Yes, Withdraw.
To set your profile back to Visible, click the button again.
Note: Even if you make your profile invisible, any employers you’ve already applied to will still be able to see you.
